They faced no challengers at the polls this year, but a handful of North Shore
Legislators still celebrated victories in yesterday’s general election.
They are:

D-Peabody, Governor’s Council
- Frederick Berry, D-Peabody,
State Senator, 2nd Essex District
- Bradford Hill, R-Ipswich,
State Representative, 4th Essex District
- Michael Ruane, D-Salem,
State Representative, 7th Essex District
- Douglas Petersen, D-Marblehead,
State Representative, 8th Essex District
- Jonathan Blodget, D-Peabody,
District Attorney, Essex County
- Thomas McGee, D-Lynn,
State Senator, 3rd Essex and Middlesex Districts
- Bradford Jones, R-North
Reading, State Representative, 20th Middlesex District
Also re-elected without
opposition were:
